Transition Whidbey
Youth for a New World is a fiscal sponsor for Transition Whidbey, a citizen’s initiative on Whidbey Island is engaged in transitioning to a lower energy and carbon footprint way of life. YNW assists Whidbey Island youth to take part of their mission to catalyze the community to work together towards greater food, fuel, energy, and economic self-reliance in response to predicted energy and resource constraints.
