Youth for a New

	MISSION STATEMENT
	What Youth for a New World (YNW) empowers youth leadership for a better world by making young people and their communities aware of the issues facing humanity today and inspiring them to take action. Who YNW engages secondary students in public and private schools, youth groups and shurches through workshops, curriculum, service learning and networking opportunities. How: Programs & Partners Youth for a New World offers its own programs (AfricaAmericaExchange, Be The Change) and acts as fiscal sponsor to partners (Conversation Café, Global Friends, Transition Whidbey, Northwest Language Academy) whose activities help YNW enhance the reach of our mission. Where From its initial beginnings in Washington State, Youth for a New World through its partnership will reach young people around the USA and the world. Why Youth for a New World ensures young people take an active part for world change during a unique time in human history when growth in world population and consumption has created a convergence of risk factors that threaten all of life on Earth. Youth need not only to be aware of the complex global issues of our times, but also see themselves as part of the new world movement already underway, which is looking beyond our current, unsustainable way of living.
